​It is time to get serious about the time capsule we are going to leave the class of 2076.  As you know we will fill one time capsule which is 3 feet by 3 feet by 2 feet that will be enclosed inside the East Spire of the Kiosk in the Long Blue Echelon (the Class of 26 will fill one that will be inside the West Spire).  The point to this is to leave things for them that shaped our lives and memories of the Academy, our careers and our lives in general.  With that in mind I am asking that you send me things that you want to include in the capsule.  I will seal them up and inventory them and include an explanation in a book that will be sealed with the contents.  In addition, I am collecting your favorite memories via email ([email protected]) for the book. If you have any items not above, send them on to me.   Send me anything that you want included.  It is a big space so short of a body we have lots of room.  Include any explanation of the item that you think is pertinent
Remember that electronic medium will be ineffectual.  We can’t read the Apollo mission tapes now, and this is an equivalent time period.
Remember that we are leaving this for cadets that are our 100-year Legacy Class.  Jack Catton will meet them but the rest of us will be gone.
I will seal each item in polyethene bags with a silicone gel package to control any moisture.  Each item will be inventoried and explained and then forwarded to Dan Beatty to hold for dedication. Let’s educate, inform and most important make the Tricontinental Class smile and laugh.
